AmericaView is a locally controlled and nationally coordinated program to advance the availability, timely distribution, and widespread use of remote sensing data and technology through education, research, outreach, and sustainable technology transfer to the public and private sectors.

AmericaView is administered through a partnership between the U.S. Geological Survey and the AmericaViewSM Consortium. The Consortium is the federal government's primary partner in achieving the AV Program vision and goals.
